Located in Ames, Iowa the Ames Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit corporation made up of concerned business and professional people who volunteer their time and resources to make Ames a better place to live, work and do business. The mission of the Ames Chamber of Commerce is to provide our members services that strengthen the economic vitality in Ames and enhance the quality of life in our community. 

Nearly 700 members benefit from exposure, networking and becoming a part of a unified voice on business issues. The Chamber provides programs that help area businesses grow, expand and locate in Ames.

2013 Ames Chamber Total Resource Campaign
“And the award goes to…Ames!”

 

The Ames Chamber’s 2nd Total Resource Campaign kicks off on April 2, 2013! Our campaign is led by co-chairs Jolene Randall (Knapp-Tedesco Insurance Agency) and Gary Botine (Sauer-Danfoss), and will feature seven teams of Chamber member volunteers.

This campaign will allow the Chamber and its affiliate organizations to market sponsorships of their programs, events, publications and electronic media, as well as recruit new members. This eight-week effort kicks off today with volunteer training. Volunteers will then be calling on Chamber member businesses and offer to assist companies with selecting sponsorship options best suited to meet their organization’s marketing needs.
