Ames Business Monthly NewsletterDay at the Capitol 2008
Your monthly Ames Chamber newsletter is included in the regular distribution of The (Ames) Tribune. Refer to the Business Monthly for details on upcoming seminars on a variety of business topics.


Day at the Capitol
Annual event gives members experience lobbying for our priority issues at the Capitol in Des Moines. Participants also hear from special speakers and Story County legislators.


Leadership Ames
Develop your personal leadership skills while learning from community leaders in this 9-month program that gives selected candidates a deeper view of several components of the Ames community. (Application process, candidate selection and fee required)


Legislative Luncheons
Luncheons are held monthly during the Iowa State Legislative session (usually January - April or May, with a preview lunch in December) and serve as an open forum for discussions with elected officials about issues that affect businesses.


Professional Development Luncheon Series
Take part in a luncheon series to learn or improve upon valuable business skills. Various business-related topics, guest speakers and coaching are part of the learning. (Fee)
