 2010 Flood

The Iowans Helping Iowans program has been designed to provide clean-up assistance, housing assistance, and small business assistance for those who suffered losses in the recent floods. This program will supplement federal individual assistance following Presidential Disaster Declarations for Iowa’s counties. Currently 32 Iowa counties – including Story County – have been declared disasters by the President. $7.5 million is available to provide financial assistance to businesses in these specified areas.

We encourage you to act immediately if you want to apply for this program. Go to www.iowanshelpingiowans.com or call 1-800-245-IOWA (4692).
