Ames, Iowa- McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce that Katherine ‘Kate’ Bowersox, ARNP has joined McFarland Clinic’s Occupational Medicine department.
Kate received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Health Science in Des Moines. She earned her Masters of Nursing from Kaplan University in Urbandale, and later earned her Master’s in Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. Kate has been providing care to McFarland Clinic patients at Express Care in Ames and previously at the Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Clinic.
As an Occupational Medicine provider, Kate will provide treatment and care of work-related injuries, physical exams, periodic screenings, rehabilitation and work conditioning programs.
