Ames Chamber of Commerce

Leadership Ames

Leadership Ames was created in 1988 by the Ames Chamber of Commerce to develop informed, involved and concerned local leaders. The program gives both experienced and emerging leaders a broader view of civic leadership responsibilities and opportunities through direct contact with a wide spectrum of institutions and people who shape the community where we live and work.

The mission of the Leadership Ames programming is to develop leadership abilities and cultivate relationships to promote community involvement and advancement.

If you have questions about Leadership Ames, contact Allee Wengert (allee@ameschamber.com) or call the Chamber office at 232-2310.
