Located in Ames, Iowa the Ames Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit corporation made up of concerned business and professional people who volunteer their time and resources to make Ames a better place to live, work and do business.
The mission of the Ames Chamber of Commerce is to provide our members services that strengthen the economic vitality in Ames and enhance the quality of life in our community.
More than 700 members benefit from exposure, networking and becoming a part of a unified voice on business issues. The Chamber provides programs that help area businesses grow, expand and locate in Ames.

The Ames Chamber of Commerce and its affiliate organizations - Ames Economic Development Commission, Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market, Ames Main Street, The Ames Foundation, and FUEL (herein “the Chamber”) - maintain the belief that all people are allowed the freedom to express themselves respectfully.
